This tour was fantastic! We had a comfy, cool van just for our group of 8, with native Cozumel residents Chuy at the wheel and Angie as our guide. Arrangements were easy online; we were provided with a list of typical destinations selected by visitors. Angie met us right off the pier and helped us to design our own route/stops/experience to fit perfectly with the ship schedule. We learned so much about “real” Cozumel history, culture, and lifestyle today! Lunch on the back side of the island was fresh and delicious and the views just breathtaking. Visit Cozumel is a small family-owned local company that truly earns your business. They made us feel like we were spending the day with lovely sweet friends who are passionate and proud of their island.

Our excursion with this company was absolutely amazing!! It was super easy to book and they remained in contact with us up until the day of the excursion, so we would know what to expect. Our family of 12 fit very comfortably in our van with A/C. Our guide knew what we would like to do, even when we didn’t quite know what we wanted to do. Lol Ozzy and Chewy were absolutely amazing and took great care of us the entire time. Also, they were very knowledgeable about everything. I definitely would recommend booking this excursion and avoid cruise lines over priced excursions, then you get a little bit of everything.

We had an excellent time on our private jeep excursion. Our driver was able to suggest and bring us to some great places as well as tell us a lot about local life on the island. We loved not having to wait for large group of people to finish each stop. We were able to move on as soon as we were finished so therefore able to do and see so much more. Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle, always. A Jeep costs the same whether one person rides in it or four: from $182, and that is the whole price for the day.

What happens if my ship docks late?

We track cruise ship schedules and follow your ship's actual arrival. A late docking moves your pickup time — it does not cost you the excursion.

Can I change the itinerary during the day?

Yes. There is no fixed route. Stay longer somewhere, skip something, add a stop — tell your guide and the day changes.

Where do we meet you?

At your cruise pier, or at your hotel if you are staying on the island.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour, for a full refund.

How long is an excursion?

Four to five hours is typical. But every excursion is private, so the day is really built backwards from your all-aboard time — we collect you once you dock and have you back at the pier with room to spare. Tell us your ship when you book and we will tell you exactly how much of the day is yours.

Do I pay on the website?

Yes. Prices are in US dollars, and you pay by card on a secure page run by Stripe, charged in Mexican pesos at 18 pesos per dollar (a $182 excursion is MX$3,276); your own bank converts it. Your excursion is confirmed straight away. Your card details never touch this website.
